Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 11, 2026
Ragnaroll (“we”, “us”, or “the app”) is a mobile dice roguelite game. This policy explains what information the app handles and what leaves your device.
Information stored on your device
Your game progress, settings, and save data are stored locally on your device only. We do not upload your save file or sync it to the cloud.
Information we collect
When you play, the app may send anonymous, best-effort telemetry to our backend (Google Firebase). Gameplay never waits on the network — if you are offline or the request fails, the game continues normally.
We may collect:
- Anonymous identifiers — a random per-install ID and a Firebase anonymous user ID (not linked to your name, email, or Apple/Google account), plus random session and run IDs used only to group your own events.
- Session statistics — when the app is opened and backgrounded, session duration, how many runs were started/completed, and the last screen you were on.
- Gameplay statistics — run outcome (win or death or abandoned), realm and table reached, bosses beaten, death cause, ending chosen, peak hand score, runes and dice owned, hacksilver spent, run duration and progress, platform (iOS/Android/web), and app/bundle version.
- Anonymous play traces — a coarse, bounded record of in-game actions (throws, scored hands, doors and shop choices, tutorial progress, and non-personal error codes) so we can see how the game is played and balance it.
- Analytics events — session start, run start/resume/abandon, milestones, run end, and ending chosen.
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, payment information, advertising identifiers, accessibility preferences, free text, or crash stack traces.
How we use this information
- Understand how players progress through the game
- Balance difficulty and improve features
- Monitor app version and platform usage
We do not use this data for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Third-party services
We use Google Firebase (Analytics and Firestore) to process anonymous telemetry. Google's privacy policy applies to their processing.
Data retention
Anonymous run summaries and analytics events are retained in Firebase for as long as needed to operate and improve the game. You can request deletion of data associated with your anonymous IDs by contacting us (see below).
Children
Ragnaroll is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can turn off all analytics at any time in Settings → Privacy → Anonymous Analytics. Turning it off stops all collection immediately and clears any telemetry still queued on your device. There is no account to delete. Uninstalling the app removes local save data from your device. Telemetry uses anonymous IDs and cannot identify you personally.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect any changes.
